Cargo-officer:    Good morning. My name is Brown. I'm the cargo-officer of the

     English ship "Victory".

 Technologist:     Good morning, Mr. Brown. Glad to meet you. My name is Petrov

     I'm the captain's assistant in fish processing. I'll take you to our

     holds.

Cargo-officer:    How many holds are there aboard your ship?

Technologist:     There are 3 hold aboard the ship.

Cargo-officer:    How much fish have you got and what species?

Technologist:     We've got about 100 tons of sardine, 70 tons of mackerel and 60

     tons of cod.

Cargo-officer:    What's the tonal capacity of your holds?

Technologist:     About 500 tons. Cargo-officer:    Thank you, Mr, Petrov. Technologist:     You are welcome

Cargo-officer:    When did you catch these fish?

Technologist:     About three hours ago.

Cargo-officer:    What's the temperature in this hold?,

Technologist:     The temperature is about -2..C. That's the usual temperature in

     our fresh fish holds.

Cargo-officer:    I'd like to examine some specimens of the fish.

Technologist:     You are welcome. Do, please.

Cargo-officer:    Well, Mr. Petrov, I've examined about 100 specimens of sardine

     and I see that fish are really of good quality. They meet the

     practical standard. We'll take the whole catch.

Technologist: About 12 hours.

Cargo-officer: Did you cool the fish?

Technologist: Yes, we did. The fish are deep-frozen.

Cargo-officer: I see. The fish meet the practical standard. They are of large size
and there are neither broken nor damaged fish. We'll take them.
