For maintenance of working capacity of engines the last should be equipped by devices for storage of oil, its supply to rubbing surfaces, clarification filtration, cooling, and also the greasing and condition control of oil. Set of all these devices forms lubricant system of the engine. Its basic assignment - reduction of losses by friction, deterioration of rubbing surfaces and heat removal from them.
Clearance in precision pairs of the diesel engines fuel equipment reaches 1,5…3 microns. Insufficient fuel clearing from mechanical impurity and waters leads to fast deterioration, corrosion and jamming of precision details.
For clearing fuel use filters of rough and thin clearing, safety filters.
In filters of rough clearing fuel apply mesh, tape-slot and lamellate-slot filtering elements. Mesh filtering elements represent the multilayered brass grids drawn on a skeleton.
Tape-slot filtering element produce from profiled with ledges tape laid coil to a coil on the goffered glass.
In lamellate-slot filter clearing of fuel occurs between plates, the clearance between which is provided by thin spacers.
In internal combustion engines application of filters of rough clearing of sediment-inertial type which operation is based on impurity and waters sedimentation by gravity extends.
Filters of rough clearing detain impurity more largly 0,03…0,1 mm with elimination completeness on weight of the impurity initial maintenance 20…55 % and up to 85 % of water. In filters periodic sediment removal is stipulated. Some filters clear by backwash.
In filters of thin clearing replaceable filtering elements from felt, felt, flyer yarn, calico, papers, cardboard, powder material are applied. Last three kinds of elements provide inclusions elimination exceeding in size 1,8 … 3 micron with completeness up to 99,4 % of the initial fuel pollution maintenance.
Safety filters establish in the case or the bringing union of the atomizer. They serve for prevention of atomizer contamination which reason was poor-quality of fuel system high pressure line assembly-disassembly. Mesh or slot filters are used. The last include fuses and plugs. The fuse has a number of the longitudinal deaf flutes leaving serially aside of an atomizer or aside of the bringing fuel pipeline. Fuel, flowing from one flute in another through the clearance between a fuse and the plug, free overcomes the filter, and mechanical particles remain in the flutes turned to the pipeline.
Fuel filters protect fuel system from pollution. The fuel rough clearing filter-sediment from large mechanical particles consists of the case, a bearing cover and a filtering element of mesh or lamellar type. The thin clearing filter filtering element - set of fine nets or made of a porous material - detains fine mechanical particles. At fuel speed decrease water and mechanical impurity settle in the case of the filter from fuel.
Filter "КОЛАН" has two filtering elements [3]: the basic by which all oil filters are supplied, and additional element of rough clearing which in traditional products is absent. The additional element is established before diverter valve and clears oil even if this valve is opened.
During a filtration through the basic filtering element together with oil pass particles of pollution up to 35…40 microns. Whereas crankshaft journal deterioration, and other rubbing pairs can reach 1 mm and more. The matter is that at use of traditional design filters (both domestic, and import) through oil intake in the pallet pass particles up to 3 mm - if not on diameter, on length. Intake also is the terminator of the pollution size at opened diverter valve of the usual filter.
At use of filters "КОЛАН" the picture varies. In the engine particles not 3 mm in the size, but only 0,1 mm as on a way of the crude oil the rough clearing filtering element is established get. Naturally, deterioration of details turns out incomparably smaller.
