Optical Wavelength Conversion Unit. STM-64 Transmitting Optical Wavelength Conversion Unit with FEC Function, страница 11

n  DWDM port receiver overload optical power: -9dBm (APD receiver module) or 0 dBm (PIN receiver module);

n  Minimum receiving sensitivity of SDH side optical receiver: -21dBm.

n  Overload optical power of SDH side optical receiver: 0dBm;

n  It has regenerating function with performance indexes completely in compliance with ITU-T, such as input jitter tolerance, and jitter transfer characteristics, etc.;

n  It provides regenerator section B1,J0 check and enables line fault location;

n  LWC board provides the following monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser cooling current monitoring, laser transmitting optical power monitoring, and receiving optical power monitoring;

3. Applications

LWC combines the function of RWC and TWC together, and is added with the function of FEC(Forward Error Correction).

LWC can be inserted in 1~13 board position of OptiX BWS 320G subrack.

The optical connector on LWC board handle bar is of SC type.

4. Common alarm performance

LWC board is mainly composed of the optical transmitting module and optical receiving module, so its alarms mainly reflect the working status of these two modules. Alarms of LWC board are shown in Table 3-7.
