Remove five friction discs (203) and four clutch plates (204) from the clutch housing.

Install Tooling (G) to clutch housing (205). Attach Tooling (G) to a suitable lifting device and a hoist.

Use Tooling (G) to remove clutch housing (205), the clutch piston and the cage as a unit. The weight of clutch housing (205), the clutch piston and the cage as a unit is 73 kg (160 lb).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

Loosen ten bolts (206) evenly. Loosen each of the bolts by one revolution before proceeding to the next bolt until the spring pressure has been released. Remove ten bolts (206) and the washers.

Use two screwdrivers (not shown) to remove clutch piston (210) from clutch housing (205) .

Note: Put identification marks on the position of the cage for installation purposes.

Use a suitable drift to remove cage (212) (not shown) from clutch housing (205). The weight of clutch housing (205) is 36 kg (79 lb).

Remove two bolts (218) and the washers in order to remove tube assembly (219) from the transfer gear assembly.
