  1. Position shaft (184) and planetary carrier assembly (185) as a unit into a suitable press. The weight of shaft (184) and planetary carrier assembly (185) as a unit is 73 kg (160 lb).
  1. Use a suitable drift to remove pin (186) from planetary carrier assembly (185) .
  1. Use Tooling (M) (not shown) and the press to remove planetary shaft assembly (187) from planetary carrier assembly (185) .
  1. Remove gear (188), two thrust discs (189), and two roller bearings (190) from planetary carrier assembly (185) .
