Configure conference telephone number: "*"+"1"+"XX…" XX…telephone conference number.
Configure call waiting time: "*"+"2"+"XX…" XX…call waiting time, with a second as the unit.
Configure phone number length: "*"+"3"+"X" X is the phone number length.
n The third method
The most frequently used and most reliable method to set orderwire phone number, also with the highest priority, is to configure through NM terminal operating system. The content of this part is described in NM operation manual in detail. Once the orderwire phone number is configured and set through NM, it will not be lost and be still effective after system is powered off and powered on again, while the numbers set with the above two methods will become invalid.
4. Alarms and indicators
The common alarm types of OHP unit are listed in Table 3-20.

Compared with the indicators on other boards, the indicators on OHP board handle bar have some special characteristics as follows:
RUN (green indicator)—running status indicator
n When it is on for 100 ms and off for 100 ms, it means that this board is not in service.
n When it is on for 1 second and off for 1 second, it means that this board is in normal operation.
n When it is on for 2 seconds and off for 2 seconds, it means that the mailbox of this board is faulty and communication with SCC board is interrupted.
ALM (red indicator)---alarm indicator
n When it is on, it means that the board hardware is faulty.
n When it is off, it means this board is normal and there is no call to this site.
n When the alarm indicator flashes, it means that another site is calling this site. If the phone set and ringing current board are normal, ringing sound can be heard.
3.7 Other Optional Functional Units
3.7.1 Dual Directional Supervising Unit For Multichannel
1. Principle
The Dual Directional Supervising Unit For Multichannel MS2 of OptiX BWS 320G system provides built-in online spectrum monitoring and analyzing function for the system. With this unit, parameters such as the wavelength, power and optical signal/noise ratio of the line optical signals output from the optical multiplexer/demultiplexer and optical amplifier unit can be monitored without interrupting the services, and reported to the SCC unit and NM, facilitating the equipment installation and later maintenance. MS2 board can process two paths of input optical signals, that is, to monitor the spectrum of two reference points of the optical channel so that the optical parameters of the two receiving/transmitting optical fibers can be monitored. Its principle block diagram is shown in Figure 3-32.
