Ann's Biography. Her Family.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ann. I am 17 years old. 1 was bom on May 23, 1981 in Rechitsa, a small town which is situated near Gomel. I am Belarusian. In 1988 I went to school. I studied well and got only good and excellent marks. I took an active part in the social life of my school. My favourite subjects were mathematics and physics. This year I've finished school No.3. Now I am a first-year student of Gomel Polytechnic. I study economics. I want to be a good specialist. I'm fond of reading and sport.
My family is large. It consists of five persons. I have a mother, a father, a grandmother and a brother. We are a very happy family and I love all of them dearly.
My father is a doctor. He is 45 years old. He works at a hospital. My father is very busy. He has a lot of patients and does all he can to help them. My mother is an accountant. She is 43. My mother works at an office. She has a lot of work to do too. Still she finds time to look after the house and to take care of all of us. My elder brother is a student too. He studies at the Gomel Medical Institute. He wants to be a doctor like our father. My brother's name is Oleg. He is a fifth -year student. Oleg is 22. He attends all lectures and classes. He is a very good student. My brother plays the piano and goes in for sports: basketball, swimming and tennis.
My grandmother is retired. She gets an old-age pension. My grandmother is still in good health. She does most of the cooking. We help our parents about the house: we wash dishes, go shopping, etc.

Our family is very friendly. We like to spend time together. All of us prefer to spend our week-ends out of town. We often go to the village to visit my greatgrandfather. He is eighty-seven years old. He lives with my aunt and my uncle and their two children - my cousins. We are happy when we are together.
