(10) Wavelength conversion board can not be exchanged at will since the wavelengths of their respective output optical signals are different. Therefore, use the board of the same type when replacing Wavelength conversion board. If the Wavelength conversion board with different sending optical wavelength should be used for replacement, the connected fiber at port must be changed correspondingly.

(11) Pay attention to the moisture-proof of board. The influence of ambient temperature and humidity should be taken into consideration for storing backup board. Generally, desiccant should be placed in anti-electrostatic protection bag for absorbing the moisture of the air in the bag and keeping dry in the bag. When board is taken from a dry place with lower temperature to a humid place with higher temperature, it can not be unsealed until you wait for at least 30 minutes. Otherwise, the humidity will condense on the surface of board and damage the unit.

(12) It is not allowed to exit NM system during normal operation. Exiting NM will not interrupt the traffics in the network, but will make NM lose the capability of monitoring equipment during the shutdown time and damage the continuity of monitoring equipment.

(13) Strictly prohibit to play games on NM computer and copy file or software into the NM system. Kill virus periodically with anti-virus software to prevent computer virus from infecting NM system.

(14) Strictly prohibit to install and remove power wire with power on. At the moment that power wire touches conductor, electric spark or electric arc will be generated, which will cause fire or hurt eyes. Before installing and removing power wire, turn off the power supply switch. Before connecting to cable, first make sure whether cable and cable label are in compliance with the practical installation.
