ВСТУПЛЕНИЕ

Международный стандарт  МЭК 62376 подготовлен IEC technical committee 80:Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems.

Данный документ составлен в соответствии с ISO/IEC Directives,часть 2.

Приложения  А и В являются составной частью данного стандарта.

Дополнения C и D являются информационными.

По решению комитета содержание данного стандарта не будет изменяться до июня 2010 года, а затем будет

- подтверждено

- отменено

- заменено исправленным изданием, либо

- исправлено

ОБЛАСТЬ ПРИМЕНЕНИЯ

Данный Международный стандарт определяет минимальные требования по функциональным возможностям электронной картографической системы и методам ее тестирования . ECS не удовлетворяет требованиям СОЛАС для судов, на которых для этих целей устанавливается ECDIS.  Однако, каждая национальная администрация в праве разрешить оснащение подведомственных судов системами  ECS. Для более наглядного отражения уровней оснащения судов системами ECS, комплекс возможностей ECS можно условно разделить на 3 класса:

-  Класс А включает постоянно установленную систему ECS для использования в навигационных целях на судах как основную, где установка ECDIS не регламентирована и использование электронной базы данных ECS разрешено Национальной Администрацией.

-  Класс В включает постоянно установленные системы, переносные системы и системы приспособленные для использования как основные средства навигации на судах, где установка ECDIS не регламентирована и использование электронной базы данных ECS разрешено Национальной Администрацией.

-  Класс С включает системы предназначенные для использования базы данных, полученной из Навигационных карт и Руководств для плавания и отражающих положение судна.
