n If the 20 G slot is configured with a 20 G board, the two 10 G slots in this group can only hold 5 G at most respectively.
n If any of the 10 G slots is configured with a 10 G board, the 20 G slot in this group can hold 10 G at most.

Caution:
(1) Do not configure an ADM of a ring network using optical interfaces on the same optical interface board (such as JLQ4 or JO16). Otherwise, the ADM will fail in both directions if the board is faulty. In this case, the optical interfaces at both ends of an ADM should be on two boards.
(2) JLHE is usually inserted in one slot of IU17–IU32 for the convenience of cabling.
2. Optical Module and Parameter Requirement
Table 2-6 shows the types and parameters of optical modules provided by SDH boards.
