C.1.5  Receiver Overload (STM-16/4/1: BER=1 ´ 10^-10; STM-64: BER=1 ´ 10^-12)

Receiver overload is the maximum acceptable value of the received average power at point R for a specified BER. The receiver overload indices for the optical interface types provided by the OptiX OSN 9500 are in line with relevant requirements, as shown in Table C-10.

C.1.6  Permitted Frequency Deviation of Optical Input Interface

In the free-run mode, the long-term frequency stability of the regenerator internal oscillator should not be less than ±20 x 10^-6. And the input interface of the downstream SDH equipment can operate normally with such signals. The indices of the permitted frequency deviations of various optical input interfaces provided by the OptiX OSN 9500 are in line with relevant requirements, as shown in Table C-11

C.1.7  AIS Rate Tolerance of Optical Output Interface

In the case of signal loss at the input interface of the SDH equipment, AIS should be output to the downstream via the output interface. The indices of the AIS rate tolerance of optical output interfaces for the various optical interfaces types provided by the OptiX OSN 9500 are in line with relevant requirements, as shown in Table C-12.
