C.1.2 Mean Launched Power
The mean launched power is the average power of a pseudo-random data sequence coupled into the fiber by the transmitter, which is measured at reference point S. The mean launched power indices of the optical interface types provided by the OptiX OSN 9500 are in line with relevant requirements, as shown in Table C-7.
