With the crawler FW225 iPEK sets a new standard in mobile TV inspection. Both Axial and Pan & Tilt Cameras can be used. The crawler is waterproof up to 1 bar and is controlled with the same control unit like other iPEK Portable Systems. An optical internal pressure display signals the tightness of the crawler. Also an inclination module and a location transmitter are built in.

With the Axial camera the overall length is only 488 mm. The crawler is propelled by two DC motors and is therefore steerable. The gearbox can be detached from the motors by an electrical clutch. So the crawler can be pulled back with the cable freewheeling.
With the electrical camera lift the camera can be positioned approx. in the middle of an 800 mm pipe. This allows the camera picture to be recorded from the best possible position.
In pipes with large dimensions the auxiliary lights ensure optimum illumination. Therefore the system is universally applicable and can be used in different nominal sizes of pipes. The big wheels and powerful motors permit the crawler to pass offsets between pipes without problems.
Included as standard are an inclination sensor and a detection transmitter, three different wheel sets with distance pieces, auxiliary light and a special pendant controller. With this controller the electric adjustable camera lift can be remotely controlled and exactly positioned.
With the Pan &Tilt camera SK 80 the total length amounts to only 582 mm. In a nominal size 250 mm diameter pipe the Pan & Tilt camera SK80 has unrestricted movement. The camera can be panned 2x135° and tilted 2x175°. Because of this wide range pan and tilt it is possible to inspect 45°-joints by viewing into and around them.
