Good morning, boys and girls! Today we continue our journey around the world. We’ll learn more about the animals that live on different continents.

Zebras and cheetahs, pandas and penguins live on different continents.

What continents do you remember? Name them.

Show them, please.

Every continent is unique and has its unique nature.

So I offer you to make a review. Look at the picture and say what it is.

Now work in groups of 3-4 and say about deserts, seas and oceans and mountains.

Now look at the pictures, name the animals and say where they live.

Octopuses, whales and dolphins live in oceans.

Lions, ostriches, and zebras and cheetahs live in grasslands.

Camels, lizards and snakes live in deserts.

You’ll work in groups and make a domino. At the end of your work you’ll get a text and you are to guess what animal it is.

1. These birds are white and black. They live in Antarctica and like cold weather. They can’t fly and walk slowly, but they can swim very fast. They live in big groups because it’s easier to stay warm together.
2. They live in Africa. They enjoy grasslands. They like water and when it is hot, they stay in water the whole day. They eat grass and leaves. They are very heavy and big, but they can run very fast and are good swimmers.

Now some animals hid on the map. Open your workbooks at page 52, exercise 1. Let’s look at the map and find them. Work in pairs. Then we’ll check the answers.

To be afraid of -- What is it? I’m afraid of  spiders.

Think what you are afraid of

Let’s make a snowball: I’m afraid of snakes. Olga Valerievna is afraid of snakes. I’m afraid of cats…

Look at the animals we are sometimes afraid of.

A fly, a bat, a spider, an ant, a bee, a caterpillar.

Let’s read them altogether.

Chinese whisper: I’m afraid of bats, spiders.
