б) глагол в косвенной речи стоит в форме инфинитива

The doctor said to the patient, “Strip to the waist”.

The doctor told the patient to strip to the waist.

Врач сказал пациенту: «Разденьтесь до пояса».

Врач велел пациенту раздеться до пояса.

The teacher said to me, “Read louder, please”.

The teacher asked me to read louder.

Учительница сказала мне: «Читай громче, пожалуйста».

Учительница попросила меня громче читать.

He said to me, “Don’t go there”.

He told me not to go there.

Он сказал мне: «Не ходи туда».

Он велел мне не ходить туда.
