3.3.2  Installation Check

Figure 3-11 shows how the installed support shall look. For any technical issues, contact the local office of Huawei promptly.

3.4  Installing the Cabinet on Support

Overview

This section introduces the steps and precautions for installing the cabinet on the support.

Prerequisites

The support has been installed.

Materials

n  Insulation plate

n  Gasket

n  M12 x 35 bolt set

n  M12 x 30 bolt set

 Caution:

The bolt M12 x 30 should be installed with a flat washer and a spring washer, as shown in Figure 3-12 (a).

To ensure that the bolt M12 x 35 is insulated from the ground, it should be covered with an insulation washer, as shown in Figure 3-12 (b).

3.4.1  Procedure

 Caution:

In installing cabinets of the same type side by side, you can choose not to install side panels of the middle cabinets. Instead, you only need to install the side panels at two ends in a row of cabinets. However, if a cabinet is installed close to another one of a different type, do install the side panels before fixing the cabinet.
