Description |
Alarm Name |
CRC4-CROSSTR |
Name |
CRC4 multi-frame error code count over threshold |
Alarm Level |
Minor |
Alarm Category |
Service quality alarm |
Alarm Board |
SC1/SC2 |
Alarm Indication |
The board alarm indicator flashes once every other second |
Alarm Reasons |
(1) Excessive optical path attenuation causes that input optical power is too low. (2) The received optical signal is overloaded. |
Processing Methods |
(1) Measure the receiving optical power. If it is normal, replace the board. (2) If the service is not affected, check whether the fiber pigtail from SCA board to SC2/SC1 is squeezed. |

WPA/WBA/WLA |
Alarm Indication |
The alarm indicator of the board flashes three times every one second |
Alarm Reasons |
(1) The input optical power is too high. |
Processing Methods |
(1) Check whether the receiving optical power of home station is too high; if not, replace the board. (2) If the optical power increases abruptly, the attenuation of the front end variable attenuator at the front end of the optical amplifier board might be reduced or broken down. Readjust attenuation value or replace the attenuator and adjust the optical power to normal value. |
