Mr Phillips. Erm, I’ve got another appointment free at 4.30 if that would
interest you?

J Anna
was on holiday in the Bahamas, (hmm) and erm, on the second day, she woke up
with this terrible toothache (hmm) yeah, so she looked up the phone number of a
dentist (hmhm) and er, she rang the surgery to make an appointment for the next
day. But that night, she had a nightmare (oh) about a horrible dentist with a
black beard and a moustache holding a, a big needle. Right, she was really
frightened (ah) and er, she woke up.
Anyway, the next day, she was tired
and, er, she felt terrible, but she went to the dentist and sat in the waiting
room for half an hour. Finally she went in to see the dentist. He said, er,
‘come in, sit down,’ but when he turned around it was the same (no!) dentist
from her nightmare. (I knew you were going to say that!)
She was terrified, and she ran away.
Erm, the dentist was very surprised, but, er, he stopped her and, and, they
talked, you know, and she told him about her nightmare, (hmm) and he laughed, and
she felt much better, erm, and, and, and they went back to the surgery. (No!)
Yeah, incredible, isn’t it? (How mad!)
