About Myself

Some useful words and phrases

Well, I’d like to tell you some words about myself. I hate telling anyone about my own personality. That is not because I’m shy, I think I am not. The reason is that I can’t estimate myself properly.

My full name is … . I was called after my father/mother and I’m very happy about it.

First of all, maybe I’ll tell you some information about my life story, if anyone is interested in it. It is just an ordinary one. I was born … on the … of … in … .  Then at the age of 6 I entered the first specialized English secondary school. As teenager I joined from time to time different clubs and after-class activities. Now I’m a first-year student of the Gomel State University named after F. Skorina, the faculty of psychology. And I will try to do my best to study well and get only good and excellent marks.   

Speaking about my appearance, as you can see I’m a tall and slim girl/boy with dark wavy hair, hazel eyes, full lips and turned-up nose. I think I’m even-tempered, rather reserved, calm and modest. But sometimes I can loose my temper and become either angry or sad. I like staying alone and sometimes I retire into my shell. But at the same time I like to laugh and to joke. I’ve got a sense of humour. I think I am able to keep my head when all about me are losing theirs and to stand up to difficulties when things are not going my way. Besides, I’m sincere and tolerant, friendly and faithful, hardworking and serious.  

When I am not busy I enjoy spending time and relaxing with friends. I also enjoy gardening, volleyball, cooking, keeping in good physical shape. The things I hope to achieve in life is to have a very successful career, a healthy life, to build the home of my dreams, to never stop growing spiritually and learning about the world. What I hope for most, is to find someone in life to share all this with.
