Internal cable

Power cable, grounding cable and alarm cable, which are used inside the rack

These cables are well installed and bundled before delivery.

External cable

Power cable, grounding cable, clock cable, alarm cable, fiber jumper and network cable

These cables are used for connecting external signal.

7.2  Internal Cable

7.2.1  Overview

Figure 7-1 shows the connections of power cable, grounding cable and subrack alarm cable inside the OptiX OSN 9500.

The power cable, grounding cable and alarm cable of subracks are connected with the terminals of power distribution box, and the rack alarm indicators are located on the front panel of EMPU board. HUB power is terminated on the front panel of JPIU.

1. MINOR: orange indicator

2. MAJOR: yellow indicator

3. CRITICAL: red indicator

4. POWER: power indicator
