Caution:
In installing cabinets of the same type side by side, you do not need to install side panels of the middle cabinets. Instead, you only need to install the side panels at both ends of a row of cabinets. If a cabinet is installed close to another one of a different type, do install the side panels before fixing the cabinet.

Connect the grounding cable at one side of the cabinet to the grounding bolt on the side plate. Figure 9-1shows the outer views of the grounding cable and grounding bolt. |

One person holds the side panel lest it should slide, while another one tightens screws into the 6 captive screw holes on the side panel, as shown in Figure 9-1. |

Install the other side panel in the same way. |

9.1.2 Installation Check

9.2 Installing Front and Rear Doors
Overview |
This section tells you the steps and precautions for installing the front and rear doors of the ETSI cabinet, which is 600 mm deep. |
Prerequisites |
n The cabinet has been secured. n Cables and fiber jumpers have been wired. |

9.2.1 Installing the Plastic Panel
Caution:
Before installing the front door, check whether the plastic panels on the top and at the bottom of the cabinet have been installed. If not, install them as follows.

Take a plastic panel from the cabinet accessories and place it on the top of the cabinet, as shown in Figure 9-3 (a). |

Fix the plastic panel with captive screws, as shown in Figure 9-3 (b). |

Fix another plastic panel to the bottom in the same way, as shown in Figure 9-3 (c) and (d). |
4 |
Repeat step 2 to install plastic panels at the other side. |

9.2.2 Procedure

Uplift the front door with both hands and insert its fixed axis into the axis seat at the bottom of the cabinet, as shown in Figure 9-4 (a). |

Pull down the suspension ring in the upper right corner of the front door, as shown in Figure 9-4 (b). |

Align the movable door axis with the axis seat on the top of the cabinet. Loosen the suspension ring to fix the movable door axis into the axis seat, as shown in Figure 9-4 (c). |

Repeat the above operations to install the rear door. |
5 |
Connect, with 6 mm2 short-circuit grounding conductive wires, the grounding bolts on the front and rear doors to those on the cabinet, so that the front and rear doors can be well grounded. As shown in Figure 9-5 (a) and (b). |
6 |
Check whether the doors can be opened/closed freely. |
7 |
Close the doors and keep the keys. |
Caution:
Multiple grounding positions are available on doors and side plates. Connect the grounding cables according to grounding signs on the post and doors of the cabinet.
