When receiving a phone call from another station, the alarm indicator of the JEOW board may flash at the frequency of 5 Hz.

The alarm indicator of the JPIU board differs from indicators of other boards in that it illuminates when there is an alarm, and turns off when there is no alarm.

A.2.2  Running Indicators

The board running indicator is green. Table A-3 lists all of its flashing statuses.

The board is in normal working status (in service).

The indicator keeps on for 1 second, and off for 1 second.

The green indicator flashes once every 4 seconds.

The board is in database protection mode (off-line) or the board is unable to communicate with the mail box of SCC owing to the absence of SCC, the fault in the mail box of the board, and so on.

The indicator keeps on for 2 seconds, and off for 2 seconds.

The green indicator flashes once very 5 seconds.

Program activation or uploading is going on. The board is out of service. 

The indicator keeps on for 0.1 second, and off for 0.1 second.

The green indicator flashes twice every 5 seconds.

The NE software is deleted.

The indicator keeps on for 0.3 second, and off for 0.3 second.

The green indicator flashes once every 1 second.

The NE software is not loaded.

The indicator keeps on for 0.5 second, and off for 0.5 second.

& Note:

Totally 3 running indicators are available for the JFAN board. They are located on the front panel of the fan tray assembly to indicate the running status of 3 fans. When the fan is in normal working status, the indicator is on. It is off when the fan is abnormal (such as abnormal rotating speed and being absent).

A.2.3  Ethernet Indicators

1.  The Ethernet Indicators of the JSCC Board and JCOM Board

The yellow and red Ethernet indicators of the JSCC board/JCOM board are located on the Ethernet interface. Their working statuses are listed in Table A-4.

A.2.4  Fan Tray Assembly Indicator

On the front panel of the fan tray assembly, there is a red alarm indicator. It is on when abnormality occurs in the fan or the JFAN board. It is off when the fan and the JFAN board are normal or the fan tray assembly is powered off.

A.2.5  JPIU Board Indicator

The red indicator is on when one of the two power modules for the JPIU board fan tray assembly is suffering from over-voltage or under-voltage.

The green indicator is on when the power for the board is well connected.

A.2.6  JPBU Board Indicator

The red indicator is on if any power module is detected to be abnormal. The green indicator is on if all power modules are normal.
